Hi Pierre,
i stayed here just before the end of last year. Have a look at the facilities that this place offers on thier resort listing section. i really did have fun here and i will hopefully soon return. Unfortunately i cannot take 2 weeks off at the moment though.
Im not surprised at your wife complainning about the long trip, as my girlfriend was somewhat sceptical also- however her mood soon changed when she had her first G&T in the heated pools. lol.
I would reccomend some trout fishing with your kids whilst your there. this was a highlight of my adventure.

Hallo fellow campers.
While you were off having funn this December, I had to work to help ensure your saftey in my area. I am now planing my holiday in the Sabie area for March 2012 and i need some more recent feedback from you about Merry Pebbles Caravan park. I am planing to go there with my caravan, my whife(who hates long trips in a car) and my 3 year old sone for 2 weeks of rest!
1. Is March a good time of the year to visit the Sabie area for a 2 week holiday in a caravan?
2. Woeld you recomend Merry Pebbles as your camping destination?
