Caravan and Outdoor Life Magazine

We contacted a few Caravan parks around the Gauteng area to book for the long week-end in August (9-12). On booking we were informed that although we are only arriving on the Thurday we would be charged for the wednesday the 8th as well . The first caravan park Club Amigos wanted to charge us for the wednesday and Sunday evening. Apparently this is the new decission made by the Caravan association. (WHY)

This is the 1st time we have come across this sort of charging. So although Friday is a normal working day and that you need to take leave to make it a long week-end, they now want to charge you for days you are not even going to be there...does anyone know how these decissions came about.
