Necessary to reserve sites for winter school holiday?

Necessary to reserve sites for winter school holiday?

I'm caravaning along the coast between Durban and Cape Town from June 18th to July 27th.   I know there are school holidays during this period.   I would rather not reserve a campsite for every night of this trip, but I will if necessary.   Let me know what you think. Thanks, Matt

Best route to Blydepoort

Best route to Blydepoort

Hi. We will be towing our caravan to Aventura Blyde in Dec and would like to do sight seeing along the way. We know the road via Lydenburg, Origstad well. Can anyone comment on the R36, Schoemanskloof to Lydenburg, R533 Robers pass to Graskop via Pilgrems Rest. The R532 from Graskop via Gods Window? Which falls can we stop at that will cater for us to park and exit again with the caravan.Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated.

Europe by Motorhome

Over the past few months I have read many blogs/articles on the internet and in magazines on full time motor home living in Europe. This appears to be a wonderful way of life, where you have the freedom to go wherever you like and explore places.

Botswana road conditions

Is it suitable now to tow a Rapier up there behind a car? I don\'t want to leave the road too much a spend kilometers on detours. We will be traveling Martins Drift - Nata - Kasane and possibly also to Katimo in Nam.Thanks, I ...

Scottburgh Caravan Park

Scottburgh Caravan Park

We are planning on visiting the KZN South Coast again at the end of the year.  I do have a few concerns though.  The most important is surely the security.  Who was recently at this fantastic park and is there in fact a concern?
