Namibia’s Best

Northwards to Namibia

In part three, the last of this series, we experience more of the Namibian coastal towns, and then head on up to Etosha National Park, one of Namibia’s most enticing destinations for overland travellers.

What is it about Namibia that makes the scenery so incredibly enjoyable? Is it the see-forever landscapes that change colours with the time of day – blue skies, pinkish granite mountains and sparse yellow grass? Maybe it’s the beautiful nakedness of Mother Earth, or the big, almost endless sky. Or perhaps it’s the feeling that you’re free to travel and explore lesser-known places at will. For me it’s a combination of all these.
