A mountain caravan resort built around a natural hot spring – what could be more appealing!
You’d be amazed at the number of quaint caravan parks and camping sites hidden away in the KwaZulu- Natal Midlands. We found one that’s definitely worth a visit!
Jurgens designers came up with a VW Kombi-based motorhome almost 40 years ago, called it the Autovilla, and an outdoor legend was born. Today this vehicle still represents the quintessential camper.
A tent might be easy to set up, but packing it back into its bag can be a deal-breaker. The Turbo Oryx is brilliant on both fronts!
In 2011 your appetite would surely have been whetted by the imported Dethleffs caravans and motorhomes that we featured – brought into South Africa and distributed by Motorhome-World. What is it about Namibia that makes the scenery so incredibly enjoyable? Is it the see-forever landscapes that change colours with the time of day – blue skies, pinkish granite mountains and sparse yellow grass? For me it’s a combination of all these.
