I and my wife are semi-retired work from home selling recycled plastic furniture and decking.We are also about to embark on our lifelong dream of fulltiming ! We are both long time campers having owned a number of vans in the past, we even started out married life living in a caravan for the first two and half years. we live in Johannesburg near four ways,and have two children, both grown up and out the house. We enjoy nothing more than sitting outside the van in or near the bush enjoying nature.
i will help some people out in a short bit. really are some great buys here. bought a 2nd hand howling moon tent 2 weeks ago at half the price!! excited to use it this weekend at Hermanus. happy camping.
It is quite difficult to choose just ONE caravan park (for the competition) when you have visited and enjoyed so many throughout South Africa. One in every region would be easier, I think. Second and third choices are still OK. How many caravan parks (officially) do we have in every province in South Africa ?
I have recently purchased a yellow blade stabilizer and used it for the first time last week for our trip to the coast. Would like to know if there is any maintenance required regarding lubricating the plastic holder /rest that supports the blade itself. ( it seems to groan when in use due to the slight pressure when turning and lifting(

Hi Bobby, thanks for joining our forum, hope you post a lot. Are you, or do you know any full timers ? My avatar pic is of my second permanent caravan, a Belvedere. You might want to use something similar for yours, if you don't want to stay one of the five shadows we have as members ! How about using the like button guys ?
